Information for New Patients

Your First Visit and What to Expect

If you're new to our clinic in Beaverton, Oregon, we're excited to welcome you! We know your time is important, and we understand that your pain might be connected to problems in your muscles and movement. Here's what you can expect during your first visit:

Checking Everything Out: The initial exam will be extremely thorough and will take 90 minutes to 2 hours. We will look at how your body moves, from your head to your toes, even if you came in with just one complaint. This will allow us to see why your current area has pain, what we can do to reduce injury risk in newly found vulnerable areas and give us a base line movement pattern just in case something else bothers you in the future. A verbal explanation of your body’s current biomechanics will be explained to you and what can be done to correct any found faulty movements. This will explain why you are experiencing your pain in the first place. Treatment will begin on the first visit.

Customized Treatment: Based on how bad your pain is, how long you've had it, and what specific issues you're facing, we'll suggest different treatments in our office.

These treatments are meant to help you feel better, move better, and get back to your usual activities as fast as possible. A staple of treatment is Active Release Techniques (ART) along with customized corrective exercises, which is a must. Low Level Laser Therapy can also be used as an adjunct to your treatment. See the services tab if you have any questions about the types of services offered! A treatment plan typically lasts from 2-6 visits, but can ultimately vary depending on your case.

Exercise Plan Just for You: Following your first visit, you will get a specialized exercise plan to target your pain and weak points on almost, if not, EVERYTHING we have found in the initial exam. This plan is made just for you and will help fix any problems we found in your movement that may contribute to the problem area and potential future problem areas. The goal is to tackle the real reasons for your pain, help you heal, and get you back to doing what you love.

Subsequent Visits: 30 minutes to 1 hour. Treatment based on your customized plan will be provided. We will review any corrective exercises you have questions with. Depending on your goals, we may also do a Gait Cueing/Analysis outdoors and/or Muscle Force Testing.

Our aim is to make sure you understand why you're feeling pain and help you get better quickly so you can go back to enjoying your favorite activities. We're here to help you every step of the way!

Why We Don't Accept Health Insurances

Welcome to Long Run Health LLC, where we prioritize your well-being and offer a unique approach to chiropractic care. One key aspect that sets us apart is our decision not to accept health insurances. While this might seem unconventional, we believe it allows us to provide the best possible care to our patients without the constraints imposed by health insurance companies. Here's why:

1. Unrestricted Patient-Centered Care

By not accepting health insurances, we can focus solely on what matters most – your health. This approach enables us to tailor each treatment plan to your specific needs without being limited by insurance company regulations or pre-authorization requirements. We believe that your health decisions should be made between you and your healthcare provider, free from third-party interference. Health Insurances can be confusing and difficult to work with from the patient perspective. Many health insurances do not cover services that would benefit the patient's well being.

2. Enhanced Treatment Experience

Our commitment to quality care means that your initial visit is a comprehensive 90-120 minute session, including a thorough examination and treatment. During this time, we not only address areas of pain but also identify underlying weaknesses or dysfunction that may contribute to your discomfort. Following the first visit, you will be given a personalized set of corrective exercises, to get you back to what you love doing most as quickly as possible.

3. Transparent Pricing Structure

To provide clarity and transparency, our pricing is straightforward. An initial visit, encompassing the examination, treatment, and corrective exercises is $245. Follow-up and office visits, continuing your treatment, is priced at $140, lasting approximately 30-60 minutes. We believe that transparent pricing empowers our patients to make informed decisions about their healthcare.

4. Flexibility in Treatment Plans

While a typical treatment plan may span 2-6 visits, we prioritize what is in the best interest of the patient. In cases such as automobile accidents, the treatment plan may extend beyond this range. Our commitment to your well-being takes precedence over arbitrary visit limits imposed by insurance companies.

5. Medicare Beneficiary Information

At this time, we regret to inform you that we are not accepting new Medicare patients. We are committed to maintaining the quality of care for our existing Medicare beneficiaries and want to ensure that each patient receives the attention they deserve.

6. Super Bills for Insurance Submission

For those with health insurance, we provide super bills upon request. These detailed invoices contain all the necessary information for you to submit a claim to your insurance company independently. This way, you can still explore potential reimbursement options while benefiting from our patient-centric care model.

At Long Run Health LLC, our primary focus is your health and well-being. We believe that by steering clear of health insurance constraints, we can offer you a personalized and superior chiropractic experience. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us – your health is our priority.
